On point

Senior Adam Wingate loves a challenge, whether he’s engaged in research in the engineering lab or in a fencing competition. The Wyoming native’s seemingly endless supply of energy has helped him maximize the benefits and manage the demands of his involvement in the two campus communities—from a research project focused on using small batteries to desalinate water and senior projects with his “Sunday club” of engineering friends to leadership of the MSU men’s fencing club. Whatever he pursues in life, Adam is proving he has what it takes to make his mark.
